Forcia have recently been appointed on a commercial office refurbishment project, Randor Walk which is located moments away from famous Kings Road in the heart of Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea.
As a part of the scheme Forcia will be stripping out the 5,312sqft of existing commercial accommodation and will be creating an extension above the existing fire escape to create a new second floor to the building with a new pitched roof. The project will also undergo works to create a new lift and lift shaft built, there will be strip out of existing mechanical, electrical and public health installations replaced with new. To make the office space feel airy and bright Forcia are installing new windows, rooflights and there will be installation of new external doors and ceiling finishes as a part of the works undergoing.
As a part of the project Forcia will be reconfiguring the first floor of the main office space, they will be opening up the space to provide modern open plan working space, however some areas will still have meeting spaces in cellular formation to allow private breakaway spaces. As a part of the restructuring works of opening up the first floor, Forcia are doing additional works to the “pottery shed” building allowing the additional columns installed to support the existing timber floor can be replaced; opening up the spaces around the main entrance area through to the staircase, which will provide better WC facilities for the occupier.
Forcia are due to complete Randor Walk November 2021.
