As we can complete structural works in-house, our team was able to start quickly. Chosen for our vast knowledge and expertise in basements, we harnessed our past experience to bring the programme up to speed. We ensured seamless integration between the existing and new buildings.
The Challenge
Forcia was engaged for fast mobilisation of the primary stage structural works. We inherited the scheme from a previous contractor and fixed pre-existing issues with the temporary works. Along with the basement, the project comprised a new build extension to the rear to house ten of the apartments.
The Impact
The result is an impressive mixed-use development that effectively upgrades and enriches the existing building, creates much-needed residential accommodation, enhances the retail presence and greatly improves this part of the high street.
